10-Hole Hero:
The Remington 870

THE ONLY PULSE RIFLE WITH A SECOND TRIGGER

fig. 1: Images showing the "bent" shroud front plate of the 10-Hole Hero Pulse Rifle.

As discussed on this page, the 10-Hole Hero Pulse Rifle was most likely the only Pulse Rifle at the time of filming that had a real Remington 870 shotgun inside the SPAS cage. Therefore, it is the only Pulse Rifle with a visible second trigger.

The prototype images show that the trigger guard was cut, but the front part was kept intact (there is a spring inside that is needed for the action of the rifle). Therefore, the shroud plate of the 10-Hole Hero Pulse Rifle just in front of the magazine well was shaped in order to try and partially cover this part of the trigger guard. This can be observed on many still images of the movie

The special shroud plate is not present on the Delta Pulse Rifle where it has been replaced with a shortened, but flat shroud plate.

In order to bend the front shroud plate on my Pulse Rifle replica, I created a "Front Shroud Plate Former" that can be 3D printed and used as a template to "hammer" an aluminum plate into form.

You can download the STL File for the "Front Shroud Plate Former" below. Keep in mind that I made this for my own shroud plate, i.e. not all shroud plate dimensions may fit. I will upload my front shroud plate dimensions in the near future. I suggest using a second plate (I used a small steel plate) to ensure that the lower part of the shroud front plate does not bend as well, as this should remain straight and only the part above the screw holes should be bent.
